Interesting – but what the heck is Twitter!?

Twitter is a new way to to share information and meet other people by connecting each other and communication via the internet. Twitter is free of charge, simple to handle and fun to use.
People “follow” each other and sharing information in a context of 140 letters. There´s no need to fill in a huge profile, you just need an e-mail address, some inspiration to create a username and a keyboard to type your message ;)

Why Twitter?

Twitter grows fast and gets very popular, it´s even used by celebrities and polititans like Barrack Obama (He has more then 200.000 follower) and will help to spread the word to the right people.
